Creation
Jehovah's Grand Work
Jehovah God is the Creator who brought the heavens, earth, and all life into existence in an orderly way over six creative periods, preparing a beautiful home for mankind.
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” — Genesis 1:1
This shows Jehovah as the Source of all things, using His power to form everything from nothing material preexisting.
“You are worthy, Jehovah our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they came into existence and were created.” — Revelation 4:11
Living things were made “according to their kinds,” with no room for one kind changing into another over time.
Even many who accept evolution admit that life’s immense complexity—from the first cell to DNA’s information code—points to an intelligent starting point or designer, as blind chance cannot produce such order.
God's Name
Jehovah
Jehovah is the personal name of the true God, the Creator, who invites us to know and use His name.
“I am Jehovah. That is my name.” — Isaiah 42:8
His name appears thousands of times in the original Scriptures, showing its importance.
“May people know that you, whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the Most High over all the earth.” — Psalm 83:18
Jesus made God's name known, teaching his followers to honor it.
Teachings that ignore or replace God's name are incorrect, as the Bible stresses calling on Jehovah in truth and using His personal name to draw close to Him.
Bible Translation
The New World Translation
The New World Translation restores God's name and uses accurate, modern language based on the oldest manuscripts.
“All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching...” — 2 Timothy 3:16
It draws from ancient sources like the Dead Sea Scrolls and early Greek manuscripts to stay faithful to the originals.
“The law of Jehovah is perfect, refreshing the soul.” — Psalm 19:7
This translation helps readers understand Bible truths clearly and touch their hearts.
Translations that remove God's name or alter key teachings are incorrect, as they obscure Jehovah's identity and the Bible's inspired message.
Jesus Christ
God's Son
Jesus is the only-begotten Son of God, the firstborn of creation, sent to fulfill Jehovah's purpose.
“This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.” — John 17:3
He is not God himself but God's chief agent in creation and salvation.
“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.” — Colossians 1:15
Jesus perfectly reflected Jehovah and taught about God's Kingdom.
The Trinity teaching is incorrect, as it contradicts Scriptures showing Jehovah as the only true God and Jesus as His subordinate Son and mediator.
The Ransom
Jesus' Sacrifice
Jesus gave his perfect human life as a ransom to free mankind from sin and death inherited from Adam.
“There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus, who gave himself a corresponding ransom for all.” — 1 Timothy 2:5-6
This provides the basis for forgiveness and everlasting life through faith.
“The Son of man came... to give his life as a ransom in exchange for many.” — Matthew 20:28
We remember this sacrifice annually at the Memorial.
Teachings of eternal torment or immortal soul are incorrect, as the ransom shows death as the penalty for sin, with resurrection as the hope through Jesus.
God's Kingdom
A Real Government
God's Kingdom is a heavenly government with Jesus as King, set up to rule the earth and fulfill Jehovah's original purpose.
“The God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed... It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever.” — Daniel 2:44
It will restore paradise on earth, ending suffering, wars, and death.
“Let your Kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also on earth.” — Matthew 6:10
This Kingdom is the central theme of Jesus' teaching.
Human governments or ideas of an earthly paradise without God's rule are incorrect, as only Jehovah's Kingdom will bring lasting peace and restore Eden-like conditions.
False Religion
Distinguishing Truth
False religion misrepresents Jehovah with teachings not based on Scripture, leading people away from true worship.
“You must not have any other gods besides me.” — Exodus 20:3
It promotes ideas contrary to Bible truth, such as mixing pagan customs or denying key doctrines.
“Jehovah is near to all those calling on him, to all who call on him in truth.” — Psalm 145:18
True worship honors Jehovah alone, uses His name, and obeys accurate Bible teachings.
All forms of false worship are incorrect because they violate Jehovah's standards, ignore His name and purpose, and fail to lead to everlasting life—only true worship based on Scripture draws close to God.
